HATİCE ÇİNAR – MANAGING PARTNER Hatice Çinar completed her undergraduate degree at the Department of Environmental Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU), and completed her Master of Science degree at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Social Sciences and Environment. Starting her career as an Environmental Engineer at Technical Engineering and Consulting in 1998, Çinar continued her career as an Environmental Engineer at BOTAŞ Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Directorate between 2001-2006 and at Philip Morris Sabancı Company Torbalı production factory between 2006-2007. Çinar served as the Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Manager at Sabiha Gökçen Airport Project in 2008, and later worked as the Environmental and Occupational Safety Manager and the Environmental and Occupational Safety Director at Limak Holding.
Çinar also executed an important role in the sustainability management journey of Limak Holding. She provided the management of many projects by developing environmental and social management strategies at international standards.
ÜLKÜ ÖZEREN – MANAGING PARTNER
Ülkü Özeren completed her undergraduate (1993-1997) and graduate (1997-1999) degrees at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering. She started her career as an Environmental Engineer at UBM, a technical consultancy company, in 1998. From 2004-2009, she worked in Turkey and Georgia sections of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project. Since 2009, she has worked in various projects mainly on carbon management, environmental and social impact management in international standards, energy efficiency, and environmental management systems. Özeren received training on validation and verification of carbon asset development projects at TUVSUD Munich in 2009. Özeren also works as an auditor following ISO 14064, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards.
While she was working as Environmental Projects Director at ICC Consulting between 2009-2011, she worked in the senior management of UENCO, the main working areas of energy efficiency and sustainability management, in which ICC is also a partner, and worked in IGA Istanbul Airport as Environmental and Sustainability Director and CEO Advisor between 2014 – 2021. In her recent position, she developed a sustainability strategy, objectives and programs (Environmental Management, Social Investment Program, Wildlife Management Program, Biodiversity Action Plan) following international standards in all processes for the airport ecosystem, from the design of the Istanbul Airport Project to the operation phase, together with her team.
